TK:  Mrs. Stephanie Lopez

I am so excited to be teaching TK at Madrona! I enjoy building off children's natural curiosity for learning and creating positive and meaningful school experiences for our littlest learners. I grew up in the Conejo Valley and have over 15 years of teaching experience. I am married, have three young daughters and a golden retriever named Penny. In my free time I love to read, hike, cook and spend time with my family. I am looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, laughter and growth!

K:  Ms. Berce

I am so happy to be teaching kindergarten at Madroña. I have taught kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades but I love kindergarten the most. I started my teaching career in Las Vegas but moved home to Thousand Oaks after one year of teaching. I grew up in Thousand Oaks and graduated from Westlake High School.

I have two busy athletic sons. I spend many week-ends going to their sporting events. When I get some time to relax I enjoy reading a book, swimming, or going to the movies.
 

K:  Mrs. Swink

Mrs. Swink grew up in Thousand Oaks and is a product of Madrona Academy, Redwood Middle School, and Thousand Oaks High School. Mrs. Swink received her bachelor’s degree from California State University Channel Islands and both her teaching credential and master’s degree from California Lutheran University. 

When she is not at Madrona, Mrs. Swink enjoys spending time with her husband and two standard poodles, Franklin and Andrew. She currently lives in Thousand Oaks and enjoys going to the beach, cheering for the Dodgers, cooking, hiking, walking her dogs, traveling, and reading.
